Pezeshkian rejected that dictate as a \u201cdream that they should take to their grave.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump specified unconditional surrender after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/60Minutes\/status\/2030054161123868786\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">days of mixed signals<\/a>\u00a0from the White House on the justifications and aims of the war on Iran, later adding that \u201csurrender\u201d could be a complete defeat of Iran\u2019s military forces.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/GettyImages-2265147391-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8064561\"  \/>The U.S. president said the American military will be ramping up its attacks soon. | Contributor\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnconditional surrender could be\u201d an announcement by the Iranian regime, Trump said. \u201cBut it could also be when they can\u2019t fight any longer because they don\u2019t have anyone or anything to fight with,\u201d the president\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2026\/03\/06\/trump-iran-war-unconditional-surrender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">told Axios in an interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The back-and-forth between Tehran and Washington came as intense Iranian fire targeted the Gulf Arab states early Saturday as Israel and the United States kept up their airstrikes targeting the Islamic Republic, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/iran-israel-us-march-7-2026-d347fd6a03185f51d670bf4e7cbf5373\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Associated Press reported<\/a>.
