Two women face prostitution-related charges after the Lebanon County Human Trafficking Task Force executed a search warrant Thursday, April 23, at MK Spa, the Lebanon County District Attorney\u2019s office announced Monday.<\/p>\n

Qian Sarah Ma, 33, and 52-year-old Ximei Dong were found living inside the spa at 1033 Quentin Road, and they allegedly were providing sexual services to male patrons in exchange for money, according to the district attorney\u2019s office. The news release states that the task force had conducted months of surveillance before obtaining the warrant.<\/p>\n

Ma was charged with felony promoting prostitution, and Dong was charged with misdemeanor solicitation to commit prostitution, the DA\u2019s office said in the release. Both were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John W. Ditzler. <\/p>\n

Both women were remanded to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, which was set at $50,000 for Ma and $10,000 for Dong. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for May 7 in front of Magisterial District Judge Maria M. Dissinger.<\/p>\n

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued an immigration detainer for Dong, officials said.<\/p>\n

The district attorney\u2019s office coordinated with Lebanon City Public Safety and Code Enforcement as part of the response. According to the news release, the city closed the spa, and the DA\u2019s office paid the fee to have the building boarded shut the same day.<\/p>\n

The DA\u2019s office said investigations into spas providing illicit activities remain ongoing.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information on suspected human trafficking is asked to contact the Detective Bureau at 717-228-4403 or submit tips through Lebanon County Crimewatch at lebanonda.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
