LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!

Welcome to our highly anticipated Lebanon Valley Soft Pretzel Wars. Five entrants from the Valley will compete to be declared the winner of Best Soft Pretzel in The Valley.

Screenshot

We will travel to each entrant and try one regular soft pretzel and one other item from the menu that is made with a soft pretzel.

We continue this “War” down in the southern end of the valley, where Dutch-Way has two locations. And that’s because it is dipped in butter before it’s placed into a bag and delivered to you. It is well salted. The pretzel itself can be doughy, but when warm makes for a delectable bite.

The pretzel wrap is filled with chunks of pulled pork smothered in a sweet barbecue sauce. The pretzel roll itself comes topped with salt, but when the filling cooks, the wrap is slightly flimsy. Definitely a delicious choice for a snack or a meal.

Did we just have the best soft pretzel in the Valley?

Next up we will travel to our other entrants: Pretzel Hut and Shuey’s.
