{"id":90926,"date":"2026-04-30T11:44:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/90926\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T11:44:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:44:07","slug":"gas-prices-jump-as-u-s-iran-conflict-drives-oil-spike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/90926\/","title":{"rendered":"Gas prices jump as U.S.-Iran conflict drives oil spike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">(WFSB) &#8211; Drivers are paying more at the pump as the U.S.-Iran conflict continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Crude oil prices spiked overnight, topping $125 a barrel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Prices eased Thursday morning but remained more than $50 higher than when the conflict began.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The jump showed up at gas stations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to AAA, the average price for regular gas in the state is now $4.33 a gallon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">That is three cents above the national average and nearly 30 cents higher than last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drivers in Fairfield County are paying the most at $4.39 per gallon, per AAA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tolland County is paying the least at $4.29.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Are gas prices impacting your summer travel plans?
