\u201cHe would\u2019ve followed the suggestions we made with respect to Ukraine, because we have some disagreements on Ukraine, not having to do with NATO so much as European countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump added: \u201cHe\u2019s an extraordinary person.\u00a0And yeah, it helps from the standpoint that, you know, when you like the king of a country so much, it probably helps your relationship with the prime minister.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you know in that case, the prime minister I said you want to send a little help? He said, no, we\u2019ll send it after you win the war. I said, that\u2019s not good, that\u2019s not good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump has deployed a wide variety of insults against Starmer over the Middle East conflict, saying Starmer is<\/a> \u201cnot Winston Churchill\u201d and the special relationship is \u201cnot what it used to be.\u201d <\/p>\n

The PM has repeatedly resisted pressure to get involved in the Iran conflict, warning it is not in the U.K. national interest to do so. <\/p>\n
