Speaking on the sidelines of the flag-raising ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was held within the framework of the 16th Persian Gulf International Cultural and Artistic Festival, he described the Persian Gulf as a symbol of Iran’s identity and civilization.

Expressing his pleasure at attending the ceremony, Salehi said: “It is an achievement for me to be in Hormuz on this blessed day. Every inch of dear Iran is sacred, but the Persian Gulf region is a symbol of Iran. Iran has an inextricable bond with the Persian Gulf, and dozens of arguments can be presented for this interpretation.”

The Iranian Minister of Culture went on to consider the Persian Gulf a symbol of the dignity and stability of the Iranians, and stated: “The Persian Gulf is the forefront of Iran’s dignity and resistance. This waterway has been the front line of confronting invasions throughout history, and our dear border guards in this region have always defended the country’s sovereignty.”

Referring to contemporary developments, he mentioned the Persian Gulf as a symbol of Iran’s legitimacy and oppression in the global arena and cited two bitter events as examples of this oppression: “The tragic incident of the martyrdom of the children of the Shajre Tayyebeh School in Minab and the martyrs of the Dena sailor frigate are two global symbols of the oppression of the Iranian nation. Today, there is no one in the world who does not believe in Iran’s legitimacy and oppression. These two wings will keep the flag of Iran’s honor flying forever.” At the end of his speech at the ceremony, the Iranian Minister of Culture expressed his appreciation for the resistance of the coastal people and the maritime border guards of the Persian Gulf and said: “The presence of the border people in the field in the past two months has warmed the hearts of all of Iran.”

Sea-oriented culture; Historical Resistance Support

Salehi also described the Persian Gulf’s case of pride as “tough” in a live interview with Iran’s One TV channel, saying: “The Persian Gulf is Iran’s twin, and whenever we turn the page of this land’s history, we see the Persian Gulf standing side by side with Iran. For this reason, this region has a special place in all the pride of our nation.”

Referring to the Portuguese colonial period and the remaining forts on the coast of the Persian Gulf, he considered these monuments a symbol of the aggressors’ failure, adding: “These forts show how the border guards and the people of this region pulled out the teeth of the aggressors’ greed. This trend continued in the Sacred Defense and now in the Ramadan War, and we saw how the border guards and especially the people of Hormuz Island, waved the Iranian flag with determination.”

Emphasizing the fundamental role of culture in ensuring the country’s security, the Iranian Minister of Culture analyzed the root of this stability as follows: “A large part of Iran’s security is owed to the rich culture of the Persian Gulf coast. The culture of the people of this region is based on ancient myths and influenced by the spirit of generosity; a culture that has turned the residents of this region into history makers and vanguards of resistance throughout history.”

During this trip, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, while attending the gathering of journalists and photographers from Hormozgan province, appreciated their efforts in covering the events of this region.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Tehran: Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, traveled to Hormozgan…

[26
5788,605,4101,606,32433,12832,592,621,7466,9808,20372,5574,32430,1555,461,395,32437,11294,32431,11561,32442,32427,32443,32439,3804,32432,16640,359,3888,12323,10950,19009,2336,2994,102,595,34,361,611,3884,8511,32441,27612,22823,32037,32434,6792,4100,5121,1284,591,3852,18792,597,39,26415,5402,32428,6971,32438,32429,6762,22825,32435,2878,18746,32440,32436,608,596,10182,29741,12545,7617,3892,1142
0":"post-91915","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-persian-gulf","8":"tag-will","9":"tag-a","10":"tag-abbas","11":"tag-against","12":"tag-aggressors","13":"tag-also","14":"tag-and","15":"tag-as","16":"tag-been","17":"tag-called","18":"tag-ceremony","19":"tag-children","20":"tag-coinciding","21":"tag-country","22":"tag-culture","23":"tag-day","24":"tag-dena","25":"tag-during","26":"tag-emphasized","27":"tag-flag","28":"tag-flying","29":"tag-forehead","30":"tag-forever","31":"tag-frigate","32":"tag-global","33":"tag-greed","34":"tag-guidance","35":"tag-gulf","36":"tag-has","37":"tag-he","38":"tag-high","39":"tag-historical","40":"tag-history","41":"tag-honor","42":"tag-hormuz","43":"tag-in","44":"tag-iran","45":"tag-iranian","46":"tag-is","47":"tag-islamic","48":"tag-island","49":"tag-keep","50":"tag-land","51":"tag-martyrdom","52":"tag-martyrs","53":"tag-mentioned","54":"tag-minab","55":"tag-minister","56":"tag-nation","57":"tag-national","58":"tag-of","59":"tag-on","60":"tag-oppression","61":"tag-persian","62":"tag-persian-gulf","63":"tag-raising","64":"tag-resistance","65":"tag-rightfulness","66":"tag-s","67":"tag-sailor","68":"tag-salehi","69":"tag-school","70":"tag-seyyed","71":"tag-shajare","72":"tag-south","73":"tag-symbol","74":"tag-symbols","75":"tag-tayyiba","76":"tag-that","77":"tag-the","78":"tag-this","79":"tag-twin","80":"tag-two","81":"tag-waterway","82":"tag-with","83":"tag-world
["GET
