NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has warned European leaders that U.S. President Donald Trump is disappointed with their reluctance to assist with the war in Iran.<\/p>\n
\u201cEuropean leaders have gotten the message,\u201d Rutte said ahead of the European Political Community meeting of nearly 50 leaders in Armenia\u2019s capital, Yerevan, on Monday. \u201cThere has been some disappointment from the U.S. side when it comes to the European reaction\u201d to the U.S. war against Iran.<\/p>\n
The U.S. has announced it will withdraw around 5,000 troops from Germany over the next year after Trump accused European countries of ignoring his requests to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
