(WLFI) &#8211; State Road 39 in Boone County will be closed for up to a week beginning Monday, May 11th, for railroad crossing repairs.<\/p>\n<p>The Indiana Department of Transportation says CSX Transportation crews will shut down State Road 39 near Tyre Road, which is about a mile and a quarter south of Lebanon. The closure is weather-dependent and could change.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers should follow the official detour: Interstate 74 to State Road 75 to State Road 32 and back to State Road 39.<\/p>\n<p>INDOT is asking drivers to use caution and, if possible, find another route.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WLFI.
