At least eight people were killed and 36 injured in a fire at the Argavan Commercial Complex Shopping Center located in Andisheh city, about 30 kilometers west of Iran&#8217;s capital, Tehran. It is reported that more than 250 commercial units were operating in this building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Iranian Student New Agency (ISNA) quoted Ali Paideran, head of the fire control department of Andisheh city, reporting that the fire occurred at 4:40 PM local time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paideran said the fire spread due to the composite material used in the facade of the building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ISNA quoted the Red Crescent Society of Iran as saying that rescue search and rescue teams, including trained dogs, were present at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tehran.
