Pesaro Rugby is about to start training with the certainty of Bank of Pesaro at its side. Banca di Pesaro continues to support Fiorini Pesaro Rugby. For the fifth consecutive year, the Giallorossi team will be able to count on the valuable support of the Pesaro-based bank.

“We are honored to continue to have the city’s only banking institution with us, a true example of their dedication to Pesaro, which, not coincidentally, has reached its 120th anniversary,” emphasized Pesaro Rugby President Simone Mattioli. “They remain among our silver sponsors, reaffirming once again their belief in the values of sport and those that inspire rugby, especially solidarity and inclusion. They will be a significant support in continuing our commitment to both the youth teams and Serie A.”

“Rugby, more than any other, is the sport that embodies the values of Credito Cooperativo: cooperation, closeness, and mutual support,” emphasizes General Manager Paolo Benedetti. “These are the same principles that guide our Banca di Pesaro every day in its relationships with members, customers, and the community.”

Pesaro Rugby’s season is upon us. On August 18th, the team will gather at Teknowool Rugby Park to begin the season under the guidance of head coach Tato Martino, assistant coach Richard Paletta (his first time as coach), and athletic trainer Jacopo Terenzi. A month of on-field training will follow, culminating in the first home match on September 20th, a mixed Serie A and Serie B match. The next match will be in San Benedetto on September 27th, and then at home to Gubbio on October 5th, before the league opener on October 19th.

This year, the Pesaro-based team will once again compete in the Serie A championship, Northeast group. Their season opener will be on their home field against Villorba Rugby. The final match of the regular season, scheduled for April 19th, will also be a home game, with the Kiwis facing Rugby Badia at Teknowool Rugby Park.
