Miglior film drammatico è Hamnet di Chloe Zhao, per cui arriva anche la vittoria, attesa, per la protagonista Jessie Buckley. Miglior commedia o musical è Una battaglia dopo l’altra di Paul Thomas Anderson miglior regista, oltre che miglior sceneggiatore. Entrato come favorito con nove candidature, Una battaglia dopo l’altra, ha aperto la cerimonia della 83esima edizione dei Golden Globes dal Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles, che da diversi decenni ospita le edizioni dei premi a cinema e tv assegnati dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association (Hfpa). Il primo dei premi è infatti andato a Teyana Taylor, miglior attrice non protagonista. Doppietta per L’agente segreto : oltre a vincere trai film stranieri, conquista la statuetta per il protagonista, Wagner Moura. Sul fronte tv, successo (meritatissimo e senza sorprese) per la minserie Adolescence un poker con tripletta per gli attori. A condurre la serata come già nel 2025 Nikki Glaser, stand-up comedian, scrittrice e conduttrice radiofonica.
