Da oggi \u00e8 disponibile un nuovo estratto con la cover di \u201c<strong>See Emily Play<\/strong>\u201c:<\/p>\n<p>Registrato in cinque giorni di emozioni e fuoco creativo ai Revolver Studio di Los Angeles, l\u2019album vede i <strong>DAMNED<\/strong>, <strong>Dave Vanian<\/strong> alla voce, <strong>Captain Sensible<\/strong> alla chitarra, <strong>Rat Scabies<\/strong> alla batteria, <strong>Paul Gray<\/strong> al basso e affiancati dal tastierista di lunga data <strong>Monty Oxymoron<\/strong>, ricollegarsi all\u2019energia grezza che ha dato inizio a tutto. \u201c<strong>Not Like Everybody Else<\/strong>\u201d segna la prima volta in 40 anni che<strong> Rat Scabies<\/strong> torna in studio con la band.<\/p>\n<p>Con brani come \u201c<strong>There\u2019s A Ghost In My House<\/strong>\u201d di <strong>R. Dean Taylor<\/strong>, \u201c<strong>See Emily Play<\/strong>\u201d dei <strong>PINK FLOYD<\/strong> e \u201c<strong>When I Was Young<\/strong>\u201d degli <strong>ANIMALS<\/strong> e il brano di chiusura \u201c<strong>The Last Time<\/strong>\u201d dei <strong>ROLLING STONES<\/strong>, con la partecipazione dello stesso <strong>Brian James<\/strong>, tratta dalla sua ultima esibizione dal vivo con i <strong>DAMNED<\/strong> all\u2019Hammersmith e amorevolmente remixata per questa pubblicazione.<\/p>\n<p>Il primo singolo, \u201c<strong>There\u2019s A Ghost In My House<\/strong>\u201c, reimmagina il classico di<strong> R. Dean Taylor<\/strong> con l\u2019inconfondibile energia e il fascino oscuro dei <strong>THE DAMNED<\/strong>. Guidato dalla chitarra incalzante di <strong>Captain Sensible<\/strong> e dalla voce atmosferica di <strong>Dave Vanian<\/strong>, il brano fonde perfettamente lo spirito soul del Nord e la spavalderia del rock gotico. \u00c8 sia un cenno all\u2019amore di <strong>Brian James<\/strong> per la potenza cruda e melodica, sia un promemoria del dono dei <strong>DAMNED<\/strong> di trasformare canzoni in qualcosa di completamente proprio.
