Tantissimi i giocatori racchiusi in un fazzoletto, praticamente tutti quelli nelle prime 30 posizioni (score di +1 nell\u2019estremo basso) che, con un gran giro, possono aspirare al successo e possibili storie che s\u2019intrecciano fanno il loro ingresso nel secondo Major dell\u2019anno.<\/p>\n<p>I leader, innanzitutto: se <strong>Alex Smalley<\/strong> si conferma girando in un -1 che lo porta a -4, arriva l\u2019aggancio da parte di <strong>Maverick McNealy<\/strong>, che risale 14 posti e non \u00e8 neppure l\u2019unico a farlo. Tre degli altri quattro co-leader di ieri, infatti, scendono: il sudafricano<strong> Aldrich Potgieter<\/strong>, il tedesco <strong>Stephan Jaeger<\/strong> e l\u2019australiano <strong>Min Woo Lee<\/strong> sono a -3 con <strong>Chris Gotterup, Max Greyserman<\/strong> e il giapponese <strong>Hideki Matsuyama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Molto pi\u00f9 ampia la quota USA in nona posizione: se prima di americani ne abbiamo visti appena quattro, ora ce ne sono altrettanti, s\u00ec, ma su sette. Parliamo, a -2, di <strong>Scottie Scheffler<\/strong> (anche l\u2019ex numero 1 del mondo scende dalla leadership), <strong>Justin Tomas, Harris English e Cameron Young<\/strong>, che si trovano con lo spagnolo <strong>David Puig<\/strong>, lo svedese <strong>Ludvig Aberg<\/strong> e il sudcoreano<strong> Si Woo Kim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pi\u00f9 che i nomi dei big (e il crollo di <strong>Shane Lowry<\/strong> che si salva di un nonnulla dal taglio), sono i tagliati a far rumore. E non poco. Tra questi troviamo lo scozzese<strong> Robert MacIntyre<\/strong>, il sudcoreano<strong> Sungjae Im<\/strong>, l\u2019inglese <strong>Tommy Fleetwood<\/strong>, il norvegese <strong>Viktor Hovland<\/strong>, l\u2019austriaco <strong>Sepp Straka<\/strong> e l\u2019USA<strong> Bryson DeChambeau<\/strong>.
