JetBlue has expanded its transatlantic network with the launch of daily summer-seasonal nonstop service between Boston Logan International Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport, marking the airline’s first-ever route to Italy.

The new Boston–Milan service strengthens JetBlue’s growing European footprint from Boston and adds a key southern European destination to its expanding long-haul portfolio.

With the addition of Milan, JetBlue now operates nine daily nonstop European destinations from Boston during the peak summer season. The schedule builds on year-round service to Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Paris, alongside seasonal flights to Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh, London Gatwick and Madrid.

“Launching service to Milan marks an exciting milestone for JetBlue and our continued growth in Boston,” said Marty St. George, President, JetBlue, in a press statement. “As our first destination in Italy, Milan brings even more reach to our transatlantic network and gives customers, both in New England and across our network, the chance to experience JetBlue’s unique service across the Atlantic.”

JetBlue continues to position Boston as a core transatlantic hub, expanding international connectivity for travelers across New England.

Following recent European expansions to Madrid, Edinburgh and Barcelona, Milan becomes the newest addition to JetBlue’s growing Boston–Europe network. The route further enhances outbound options for U.S. travelers seeking access to Italy and inbound connectivity for European visitors entering the U.S.

For travelers abroad, Boston provides onward connections across JetBlue’s U.S. and Caribbean network, including destinations throughout Florida, California and the Caribbean.

JetBlue’s Boston–Milan service is now operating as part of the airline’s summer schedule.
