EXCLUSIVE: Family adventure The Emperor’s Stone, starring Colin Morgan (Merlin), Antonia Desplat (Plaine Orientale) and Luke Treadaway (Clash of the Titans), has begun production in Italy and France following a series greenlight. The six-episode series, from Nolita, Aircraft Pictures, Legend Factory and CBS Studios, will air on France Televisions in France, ZDF in Germany, and Rai in Italy. Additional territories to be announced.

In the series, an ex-treasure-hunter and descendent of a famous pirate uncovers a lost diary that could lead to the mysterious and powerful Emperor’s Stone. To repair his fractured family and save their home, they follow clues left by their ancestors, finding themselves facing dangerous powers on a high-stakes adventure to stop the stone from falling into the wrong hands.
