Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s honeymoon has all the makings of la dolce vita. Since their Italian wedding, the newlyweds have been hopping between some of the country’s most beautiful spots while documenting sun-soaked days by the sea, al fresco dinners, and picturesque landscapes.
They started with a small civil ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31. Then they celebrated with a three-day wedding in Sicily, which included a bigger ceremony on June 6 at the 18th-century Villa Valguarnera near Palermo.
From there, they set off on a dreamy, coastal road trip. Their itinerary took them to a handful of Italy’s most renowned hotels, from a restored convent and Belle Époque estate to a palazzo redesigned by Francis Ford Coppola. Here’s a closer look at where Lipa and Turner have checked in.
Villa Igiea
Palermo, Sicily
Before starting their honeymoon, the couple and their wedding guests reportedly stayed at Villa Igiea, a well-known Rocco Forte hotel with views of the Gulf of Palermo. Commissioned by the Florio family in the late 1800s as a private villa, it was carefully restored by Olga Polizzi to keep its Belle Époque style while adding modern comforts.

Today, Villa Igiea combines historic charm with resort features like manicured gardens, a palm-lined pool, a large terrace with sea views, and the Irene Forte Spa.
San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel
Taormina, Sicily
In Taormina, Lipa and Turner stayed at San Domenico Palace, a Four Seasons Hotel. This property is set in a restored 14th-century Dominican convent and sits on a dramatic cliffside, offering gorgeous views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.

It became famous as the main filming location for the second season of The White Lotus, but its history goes back centuries. Now, guests can enjoy original cloisters and Italian gardens, an infinity pool, the Michelin-starred Principe Cerami restaurant, and rooms that keep the building’s historic feel.
Villa Paola
Tropea, Calabria
After leaving Sicily, Lipa and Turner traveled to Calabria. They reportedly stayed at Villa Paola, a boutique hotel tucked inside a 16th-century monastery with views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The building still has many of its original features, like vaulted ceilings and cloisters, alongside minimalist interiors and terraced gardens. Guests can enjoy views of the Aeolian Islands from the infinity pool and try seasonal Calabrian food. During their stay, Lipa and Turner were even seen having a romantic dinner in Tropea.
Palazzo Margherita
Bernalda, Basilicata
One of the most distinctive stops on their honeymoon was Palazzo Margherita, an intimate nine-suite property restored and owned by filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. In the quiet hill town of Bernalda, this 19th-century palazzo was turned into a boutique hotel as a tribute to Coppola’s grandfather, who emigrated from the region to the United States.
The property mixes original frescoes, antique furniture, hand-painted ceilings, and a lush courtyard with movie-inspired details. Lipa posted photos from the hotel on Instagram, including a screening of Vittorio De Sica’s 1948 film Bicycle Thieves. Sometime around this stay, the couple also visited Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its ancient cave homes.
Villa TreVille
Positano, Amalfi Coast
Villa TreVille sits between Positano and Praiano and was once the private home of filmmaker and opera director Franco Zeffirelli. It’s now a small luxury property with just 16 suites surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.
A private elevator built into the cliff takes guests down to the hotel’s quiet beach club, and large terraces offer clear views of the coast. The hotel has always attracted artists and celebrities looking for privacy.
During their stay, Lipa and Turner were photographed relaxing by the sea, adding another glamorous moment to Villa TreVille’s cachet.
Hotel Locarno
Rome
In Rome, the couple stayed at Hotel Locarno, a beloved Art Nouveau boutique hotel near Piazza del Popolo. Family-owned since the 1960s, it’s a favorite among artists, filmmakers, writers, and fashion insiders because of its carefully preserved 1920s interiors.
Floral wallpaper, vintage furniture, elegant rooms, and a leafy courtyard give it an old-world feel, while the rooftop terrace has wide views over Rome. During their visit, Lipa and Turner were also seen exploring the city, including an evening at the Trevi Fountain.
La Posta Vecchia
Ladispoli, Lazio
Just outside Rome, the couple also reportedly stayed at La Posta Vecchia, a Renaissance seaside villa and sister property to Hotel Il Pellicano. Once the private home of oil magnate J. Paul Getty, this 17th-century estate became a small luxury hotel that still keeps many of its early features.

The property has museum-quality Roman artifacts found during excavations, frescoed ceilings, and only 21 unique guest rooms with views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its simple elegance and long history have made it one of Italy’s classic coastal getaways.
Hotel Il Pellicano
Porto Ercole, Tuscany
The couple continued to Hotel Il Pellicano, a famous hideaway overlooking Tuscany’s Monte Argentario coastline. Lipa posted a photo of Turner in front of the hotel’s sign in her latest Instagram roundup.
The hotel was first built as a private retreat by an American couple in the 1950s and later became known for the easy glamour seen in Slim Aarons’s famed photographs, making it one of Italy’s most famous luxury hotels.
