Nicole Kidman was spotted in an intimate hotel encounter with a new man during her Italian holiday – and now his identity has been revealed.
The Aussie actress – who has not stepped out publicly with a man since her split from Keith Urban in February 2025 – was seen in a lingering goodbye with a grey-haired man outside the suite of her Portofino hotel this past weekend.
Page Six has since revealed the man is private equity investor named Michael Reinstein, who is the founder of global private equity firm The Regent. The LA native is also the co-founder of the USN television network.

Kidman, 59, looked stunning in a white satin slip dress as she wore her trademark strawberry-blonde hair wild, down and free.
Meanwhile, the businessman dressed casually in a navy shirt and shorts while trying to conceal his identity under dark sunglasses.

The recently divorced star was locked in conversation with her visitor as they chatted by her suite doors, on the balcony and through her window, where they appeared to hold hands through the grates before finally parting ways.
While Kidman and Reinstein’s relationship status remains unconfirmed, in February rumours were rife that the actress was dating Paul Salem, Chairman of the Board at MGM Resorts International.
Sources told TMZ at the time that the 62-year-old business executive has made it clear to his close friends of his intentions with Kidman, and he has plans to woo her in a bid to take her on a date.
It’s believed he has met with the Oscar-winner twice in group settings because of their mutual friends, and she reportedly quickly caught his attention.
The romance rumours have yet to die down with celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi reporting just last month that things were heating up behind the scenes between the Hollywood star and the prominent businessman, who is said to have deep ties in the world of finance, sport and entertainment.
“We’re told the relationship has been quietly developing for the past few months and the pair have been keeping things extremely low-key and largely out of the public eye,” the site claimed.
However, a source has told OK! magazine that Kidman is officially single and happily focusing on her kids and family.
“She is not dating anyone but she is a single woman,” the source said. “She is focused on her kids.
Speaking of family, Kidman was joined by her sister, Antonia, on her Italian holiday as well as their children, with Nicole’s eldest daughter Sunday Rose sharing a photo of herself and cousin Sybella Hawley lounging around in Portofino.
Days before Kidman was seen with her mystery man, she was spotted on board a luxury yacht with Antonia, who was celebrating 55th birthday in style in the glittering Italian Riviera.
