Little Italy Endicott is gearing up to welcome the Southern Tier community for its signature summer send-off: the 19th Annual Gusto Italian Festival.

The nearly two-decade-long tradition returns this Friday, August 28th, from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitors can head to Witherill Street and Odell Avenue to immerse themselves in local Italian heritage, food, and culture.

The festival will include:

Local Food & Goods: Over 40 local vendors serving up authentic Italian dishes and goods.

Live Entertainment: Live musical performances by regional artists throughout the evening.

Family Activities: Free kids’ entertainment, including magic shows and rides on the historic carousel.

Grand Finale: A special fireworks show at George W. Johnson Park immediately following the festival at 9:00 PM.

Described by organizers as an “unofficial Endicott reunion” and the “unofficial end of summer,” the event draws visitors from across the region to celebrate the vibrant Italian-American roots embedded in the village.

“This is a staple event in the village of Endicott,” said Mike Tanzini, board member for Little Italy Endicott. “This is something that brings people from not just the village, but all over the Southern Tier. Regardless of your reason for coming down—whether it’s grabbing something to eat, looking at the wonderful artwork, listening to music, or celebrating Italian heritage—we are so excited to invite you down.”
