The Clooneys have touched down in Venice. Amal Clooney and her husband of nearly 12 years George Clooney arrived ahead of the 2026 Venice Film Festival on Tuesday, with the British Lebanese human rights attorney sporting off-duty style in Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann.

For her arrival attire, Amal Clooney wore a monochromatic selection from the spring 2027 collection — a dark moss silk satin low scoop-neck tank top with coordinated mini shorts, and single-breasted blazer. Clooney accessorized her look with a different neutral color, toting a gray suede bag from the label.
As for accessories, Clooney went mostly minimalist, sporting stud earrings and delicate jewelry along with a pair of statement sunglasses by Chloé. Clooney’s husband opted for his own take on off-duty dressing.

The “Jay Kelly” star wore a pair of cream trousers with a belt and added a dark short-sleeve polo. George Clooney will receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 83rd annual Venice Film Festival, which means he and his wife will appear on the red carpet in the days ahead.

While Clooney’s look certainly gravitated toward that off-duty aesthetic edge with a touch of modernity, her wardrobe for the red carpet is expected to incorporate Old Hollywood glamour and vintage finds, especially if her previous Venice Film Festival appearances are any indication.
In years past, Clooney has worn designer pieces by Jean-Louis Scherrer and Atelier Versace. For non-Venice Film Festival red carpets and events, Clooney has also worn Dior and Balmain, among other designer labels.
