{"id":1350,"date":"2026-03-31T11:06:06","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T11:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/1350\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T11:06:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T11:06:06","slug":"disney-rai-in-italy-strike-content-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/1350\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney+, RAI in Italy Strike Content Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAnd the latest content deal between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/walt-disney\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walt Disney<\/a>\u2018s streaming service\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/disney\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Disney+<\/a>\u00a0and a big European broadcaster is with\u2026 RAI in Italy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe agreement, unveiled on Tuesday, follows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/disney-plus-rtve-spain-content-deal-europe-free-to-air-pact-1236547920\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a Friday deal<\/a> with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/amazon-prime-video-m6-plus-france-rtve-spain-deals-1236472145\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RTVE in Spain<\/a> that marked the first time that a state\u00a0broadcaster in Europe agreed to make shows available on a streaming platform the day after their linear broadcasts. Now, the RAI deal marks the second agreement for Disney, and also the second within a week, that will bring content to Disney+ immediately after its linear broadcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAs part of it, popular talk show\u00a0Belve, hosted by Francesca Fagnani, and game show The Floor \u2013 Ne\u00a0rimarr\u00e0\u00a0solo uno, hosted this year by Paola Perego and Gabriele\u00a0Vagnato, will be available\u00a0for Disney+ customers\u00a0in Italy to stream\u00a0from\u00a0the day\u00a0after airing on RAI 2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn addition, Disney+ will feature such RAI\u00a0titles\u00a0from the recent past as Braccialetti\u00a0rossi, Mina Settembre,\u00a0L\u2019amica\u00a0geniale,\u00a0Un\u00a0passo\u00a0dal\u00a0cielo and M\u00e0kari, as well as the docu-reality series Il Collegio. These programs will be offered in a dedicated collection\u00a0on Disney+\u00a0in Italy, which will launch soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe RAI deal is the latest step in a big Disney+ push to strike collaborations with European free-to-air broadcasters.
