{"id":13840,"date":"2026-05-07T20:44:04","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T20:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/13840\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T20:44:04","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T20:44:04","slug":"stanley-tucci-thinks-this-is-the-best-dish-in-all-of-italy-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/13840\/","title":{"rendered":"Stanley Tucci thinks THIS is the best dish in all of Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stanley Tucci knows a thing or two about Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cEasy A\u201d star has been traveling around the European country for years now, first when he moved there as a child, then for a CNN show, and now for his Nat Geo series, \u201cTucci in Italy.\u201d So his suggestions are to be taken seriously.<\/p>\n<p>When asked what he would recommend to someone traveling to Italy who could visit only one town and eat one meal, Tucci laughed. \u201cThat\u2019s an impossible question to answer, I hope you know that,\u201d he told PauseRewind\u2019s Sabra Satz-Kojis.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, he tried to answer anyway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would go to Bologna and  I would find lasagna bolognese,\u201d he decided.<\/p>\n<p>However, when it comes to \u201cTucci in Italy\u201d season two, the Emmy winner is most excited for fans to see a different region. \u201cLe Marche I think is interesting because people don\u2019t know a lot about that region, and it\u2019s an absolutely beautiful region next to Tuscany,\u201d he explained. \u201cBut there\u2019s also dishes  or stories in each of those regions in this season that are really interesting I think.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, in \u201cTucci in Italy\u201d season 2, \u201cTucci visits new regions, including Le Marche, a lesser-known destination he\u2019s never featured before. Located in central Italy along the Adriatic coast, the region&#8217;s rich culinary delights have largely escaped the attention of international tourists. In Campania and its famed capital, Naples, he celebrates a once-forgotten vine grape, and in Veneto, he deliciously wades into the passionate culinary debate over the origins of tiramisu.
