When it comes to the specifics of her love life, Kesha<\/a> says geography matters more than anything else.<\/p>\n

The two-time Grammy nominee made an appearance on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast<\/a> this week,\u00a0where she shared that she\u2019s\u00a0\u201cmostly celibate,\u201d with one small caveat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m celibate, except for when I\u2019m in Italy,\u201d\u00a0she said.<\/p>\n

When host Alex Cooper pressed for more details,\u00a0Kesha clarified that she didn\u2019t require a partner to be present.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow I actually masturbate to gratitude meditations,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u201cDon\u2019t knock it till you\u2019ve tried it. Remember when I said I started every day with a gratitude meditation?\u00a0Right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kesha made the surprising admission while discussing the ways she\u2019s \u201creclaimed\u201d her sexuality following a nearly decade-long legal battle<\/a> with former producer Lukasz \u201cDr. Luke\u201d Gottwald, whom she accused of ****** assault and battery.<\/p>\n

Both parties agreed to a resolution<\/a> with undisclosed terms in June 2023, shortly before Dr. Luke\u2019s countersuit alleging defamation was set to go to trial.<\/p>\n

Since then, Kesha has creatively rebounded both in the recording studio and on the concert stage.\u00a0Last year, she unveiled her sixth album, \u201cPeriod<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0and embarked on a co-headlining tour<\/a> with the Scissor Sisters.<\/p>\n

In her chat with Cooper,\u00a0Kesha said she\u2019s been using her downtime to\u00a0\u201creprogram\u201d herself and embrace personal \u201cpleasure\u201d in more ways than one.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is OK as a woman to feel pleasure in this world when you go through things,\u201d she said. \u201cPleasure is not like the No. 1 neural pathway that your brain always goes to when you have survived things. And I had to reprogram that, and I do it every ******* day, and I\u2019m not even embarrassed about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also emphasized that her celibacy is intentional, noting that she was holding out for a \u201cking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy ***** is manifesting with gratitude that my king is coming, OK?\u201d she quipped. \u201cBecause your body has to align with your reality before it shows up in your life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kesha is among a growing list of celebrities who have spoken frankly about their celibacy.\u00a0Others include fellow musician Lenny Kravitz<\/a>,\u00a0who in 2024 said he hadn\u2019t had *** in nine years, and actor Julia Fox<\/a>,\u00a0who has cited the Supreme Court\u2019s 2022 rollback of abortion rights as her motivation to abstain.<\/p>\n
