Fear erupted overnight in southern Rome, where a car carrying three young people left the road and plunged down a ditch. The accident occurred around 00:30 AM on Via della Cecchignola. According to initial reconstructions, still being reviewed by investigators, the vehicle lost control and went off the road, falling into an area with a drop of approximately five meters. The Rome Fire Department, along with the EUR team, responded quickly to the scene. Rescuers reached the three young people involved in the accident and immediately began rescue operations.<\/p>\n
Two of the youths were entrusted to the care of emergency medical personnel after managing to escape from the vehicle. Recovering the third youth, who was trapped inside the completely overturned car, proved more complex. Firefighters safely extracted him, immobilized him on a stretcher, and then recovered him using a ladder truck, which allowed him to be transported to the street level. Once the rescue operations were completed, the youth was handed over to paramedics for treatment. All three youths were transported to the nearest hospital for assessment and medical attention. Law enforcement officers were also present at the scene of the accident, conducting surveys and initiating investigations to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
