The Herald\u2019s Liam Napier reported this week that Savea \u201cshook off a blow in the match day warm-up last weekend and cut a battered figure post-match\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs newly installed permanent captain he will want to lead every match but Italy \u2013 after losing 27-10 to Japan en route to Wellington \u2013 could be a prime opportunity to manage his workload.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019ll come at times where we\u2019ve got to get into an arm-wrestle and we\u2019ve got to kick a little bit more based on situations. But the mindset is that if it\u2019s on to play we want to play and we want to play a really high-tempo game.
