\u201cDie Hard\u201d actor Robert Davi unloaded on Mayor Zohran Mamdani in a fiery social media video, bashing the socialist Democrat for erasing New York\u2019s Italian-American heritage after City Hall released a map of immigrant enclaves that omitted Little Italy.<\/a><\/p>\n Actor Robert Davi went on a wild rant against NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Getty Images<\/p>\n The map, titled \u201cNew York City Immigrant Enclaves<\/a>,\u201d identified neighborhoods including Little Palestine, Little Egypt and Little Africa, but ignored historic Little Italy<\/a> and several traditionally Irish and Jewish immigrant areas.<\/p>\n \u201cMy grandparents came from Sicily and Naples and they taught me, speak the English. This is America. God bless America,\u201d the 75-year-old Hollywood tough guy raged in a blistering rant posted Friday on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cMy grandfather enlisted in World War I and got wounded three times \u2026 he helped build New York City as an immigrant, an Italian immigrant.<\/p>\n \u201cI was born in Astoria, Queens, you jerk. I understand the lifeblood of New York City and the immigrant populations and all peoples.<\/p>\n A furious Davi told the mayor to \u201cgo back where he belongs.\u201d James Messerschmidt for the NY Post<\/p>\n Then he gave 34-year-old Mamdani \u2014 born in Kampala, Uganda<\/a> \u2014 some advice.<\/p>\n \u201cGo back to where you belong, Mamdani, go back to where you belong and run for office there,\u201d thundered the actor, who lives in Apollo Beach, Fla., and played played FBI Special Agent Big Johnson in \u201cDie Hard.\u201d<\/p>\n The Mayor’s Office made a map of NYC’s immigrant enclaves: Little Africa, Little Poland, Little Palestine.
