A marvel was the miniature charm depicting the Isola Bella on the Ionian Sea near Taormina, the Sicilian resort town where the brand last week unveiled the collection, together with its Alta Moda women\u2019s and men\u2019s couture offer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe three-day event last week for around 300 clients is \u201cunique in the market because it offers a holistic and consistent vision as part of a single experience and aesthetics across the board and strongly connected to the identity of the brand,\u201d said Stefano Cantino, who was named co-chief executive officer <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/business-news\/human-resources\/dolceampgabbana-stefano-cantino-co-ceo-1238912441\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last April, <\/a>flanking Alfonso Dolce. \u201cThe collections are interconnected with one another as part of a single universe.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAt other luxury brands, <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/accessories-news\/jewelry\/mellerio-gold-diamond-nail-ornaments-patented-high-jewelry-1239046705\/\" id=\"related_article_link_high-jewelry\" data-tag=\"high-jewelry\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">high jewelry<\/a> collections are often and generally given a separate spotlight, and several opt for showing during Paris Couture Week or stage dedicated itinerant fashion shows, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/accessories-news\/jewelry\/louis-vuitton-mythica-high-jewelry-collection-marrakech-1238934668\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Louis Vuitton <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/tag\/dior\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dior\" data-tag=\"dior\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dior<\/a>, among others, who this year presented in Marrakech and Venice, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tNot so at Dolce &amp; Gabbana, at least so far, also in light of the single artistic direction of the two founding designers and their creative control. \u201cEvery jewel stems from their sketch and original idea and the storytelling is a key element of every collection, and very much connected to the territory,\u201d said Cantino. \u201cClients respond well to the narrative, they are curious and engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWhile \u201cstrongly linked to the aesthetics of the clothes,\u201d Cantino said the jewels were not paraded by models on the catwalk but rather shown in glass display cases.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/wp-content\/themes\/vip\/pmc-wwd-2021\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.gif\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ALTA_GIOIELLERIA_STILL_LIFE_3_phThomasLegrand_4x5-1.jpg\" alt=\"Dolce &amp; Gabbana\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"1024\" width=\"819\" decoding=\"async\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tA necklace from <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/menswear-news\/mens-designer-luxury\/dolce-amp-gabbana-growth-menswear-lifestyle-expansion-1239010004\/\" id=\"related_article_link_dolce-gabbana\" data-tag=\"dolce-gabbana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dolce &amp; Gabbana<\/a>\u2019s high jewelry collection. [Photographer Thomas Legrand]<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe jewels are one-of-a-kind but Cantino said the brand\u2019s artisans, working in-house at its Legnano headquarters, less than 20 miles from Milan, also respond to specific made-to-order requests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHe said the brand\u2019s high jewelry performs strongly among North and Latin American clients, as well as in Asia, with Chinese and Taiwanese clusters, and, more recently, Indian clients. Often customers are collectors, but they also buy across the three categories during the Alta Moda experience. In fact, the brand presents high watches and jewels for men, too, offering \u201cgrowth opportunities across the board,\u201d Cantino enthused.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe devotion heart is one of the leitmotifs of the collections, also present in the fashion designs, as is other religious iconography, from the Virgin Mary to Christian crosses. [Photographer Thomas Legrand]<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn a brooch, a delightful tiny winged cherub floated over a spiral shell in yellow and white gold brimming with tanzanites; peridots; chrome, multicolor and pink tourmalines; yellow beryls; aquamarines; amethysts and diamonds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tYellow and white gold shells formed a necklace with aquamarines, rubellite tourmalines, tanzanites, amethysts, yellow beryls, morganites, diamonds and Akoya pearls, the shells so carefully and intentionally detailed that some appeared to be eroded or polished by the sea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tA necklace in yellow, white and pink gold and titanium with blue zircons, rubellite and green tourmalines, kunzite, aquamarine, yellow and orange sapphires, tsavorite garnets and diamonds was highly representative of the brand and the island, embellished with lemons and other local fruits and flowers, shells, flowers and a winged cherub.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/wp-content\/themes\/vip\/pmc-wwd-2021\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.gif\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/italy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/AG_Taormina_2026_STILL_LIFE_1_phThomasLegrand_MR_4x5-1.jpg\" alt=\"Stacked from 3 images.
