Its 2.6% share of the total market puts the compact Jeep alongside some of Italy\u2019s highest-volume passenger vehicles.<\/p>\n That is a major accomplishment for Jeep, especially considering the Avenger was developed specifically with European buyers and European roads in mind.<\/p>\n July alone remained strong. The Avenger captured approximately 3.74% of Italy\u2019s SUV market during the month, while its year-to-date SUV share stood at 5.02%.<\/p>\n Jeep says the results continue the momentum the Avenger established during both 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n \u2191 Back to top<\/a><\/p>\n A major part of the Avenger\u2019s appeal is that Jeep hasn\u2019t forced customers into a single type of powertrain.<\/p>\n Instead, European buyers can choose from several configurations depending on their needs and budget.<\/p>\n There is a traditional gasoline-powered version with a manual transmission, a 48-volt e-Hybrid model<\/a> with an automatic transmission, a fully electric Avenger, and the more adventurous Avenger 4xe with electrified all-wheel drive.<\/p>\n That variety gives Jeep the ability to attract buyers who want everything from a simple gasoline commuter to an electrified compact SUV with additional traction and capability.<\/p>\n It also fits Jeep\u2019s current \u201cFreedom of Choice\u201d strategy, allowing customers to select the type of propulsion that makes the most sense for them rather than pushing the entire lineup toward one solution.<\/p>\n \u2191 Back to top<\/a><\/p>\n Although the Avenger carries familiar Jeep styling cues, it was developed around the needs of the European market. Like the Avenger, the Compass was designed in Turin. It rides on Stellantis\u2019 STLA Medium architecture<\/a> and offers hybrid and fully electric powertrains.<\/p>\n The 145 horsepower Compass e-Hybrid currently starts at \u20ac33,900 (or about $39,000 at recent exchange rates), although currency conversions naturally fluctuate.<\/p>\n At the other end of the lineup is a 375-horsepower all-wheel-drive (AWD) electric model. Its 96.1-kWh usable battery provides a claimed WLTP driving range of more than 600 kilometers (373 miles).<\/p>\n Depending on configuration, Jeep has also quoted electric Compass range figures reaching approximately 650 kilometers (404 miles).<\/p>\n The new Compass offers more than 200 millimeters (7.9 inches) of ground clearance and can handle water crossings up to 480 millimeters (18.9 inches) deep, reinforcing Jeep\u2019s effort to retain real capability even as the lineup becomes increasingly electrified.<\/p>\n
