Italy\u2019s Ministry of Defense has begun preparing a new aid package for Ukraine. This was announced by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto.<\/p>\n
Once the Ministry of Defense, together with other agencies, finalizes the package, its contents will be presented to members of COPASIR, the parliamentary committee overseeing intelligence activities. The committee chair will brief the lawmakers.<\/p>\n
Italy plans to finalize new aid for Ukraine quickly<\/p>\n
Italy\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani noted that decisions on the next aid package could be finalized in the near future. The document is to be signed by Antonio Tajani, Guido Crosetto, and Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti.<\/p>\n

Support for Ukraine\u2019s energy system ahead of the winter period remains a separate priority. The Italian side is paying particular attention to this issue given Ukraine\u2019s need for a stable energy supply.<\/p>\n
Giorgia Meloni had previously also promised that Italy would continue providing Ukraine with humanitarian aid throughout the next winter season.
