Entertainment Weekly can confirm that the upcoming installment of the Netflix series will be saying arrivederci to Italy and is heading to Greece and Monaco. The new season begins production in May.<\/p>\n

Since the show premiered in 2020<\/a>, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins<\/a>) has jetsetted to Paris, along with Rome, Venice, Saint Tropez, and Meg\u00e8ve. It’s time for her to grab her passport and pack her bags once again.<\/p>\n

Plot details have yet to be announced for the show, which was renewed for its sixth season in January<\/a>, though the season 5 finale does give fans a taste of what could be in store.<\/p>\n

The final scene featured Gabriel (Lucas Bravo<\/a>) inviting Emily to meet him in Greece after her breakup with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), teasing a possible new chapter in their relationship \u2014 and a new glamorous hotspot. \u201cEmily. As promised\u2026 A postcard with a stamp. I\u2019m at sea without you. Meet me in Greece. Yours, Gabriel,” the fateful note read<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The show’s creator, Darren Star, mentioned in a December 2025 interview with Decider<\/a> what fans could expect in another season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a couple of things in the back of my mind, but I don\u2019t really dive in and think about…and things can change,\u201d Star said. \u201cSo I wouldn\u2019t want to like really talk about anything in a concrete way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the season 5 finale, meanwhile, Mindy (Ashley Park<\/a>) and Nicolas (Paul Forman<\/a>) get engaged. However, just because Nico popped the question to Mindy doesn’t mean things are as perfect as they seem.<\/p>\n

\u201cNicolas was always in Mindy\u2019s mind as this fantasy, who really hurt her, and came back and offered her surprisingly everything. And I think she was really quick to cast Alfie aside as a little bit of a fling when Nico came back in the picture,\u201d Star told Decider. \u201cBut I think it\u2019s going to complicate the situation. If and when we hear about a Season 6, I think that their storyline would be a little messy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Collins also shared her wish list for a potential sixth season after the finale aired.<\/p>\n

“I hope we get to go to another season, and I hope I’m going to plan [Mindy’s] bachelorette in Greece,” she told Deadline<\/a> in December. “I think no matter where we go \u2014 I’m hoping it’s Greece, because that would be amazing. It would be with Mindy.”<\/p>\n

Along with Emily, Gabriel, Nico, and Mindy, fans can expect Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Samuel Arnold (Julien), and Bruno Gouery (Luc), among others, to return for season 6.<\/p>\n
