(KMOT) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kfyrtv.com\/2026\/04\/20\/joes-italian-restaurant-opens-minot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kfyrtv.com\/2026\/04\/20\/joes-italian-restaurant-opens-minot\/\">A restaurant that opened this week<\/a> is bringing the tastes of Italy to the Magic City. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Joe\u2019s Italian is bringing authentic pasta, pizza and more to downtown Minot. The restaurant has six other locations across the U.S.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The new dining option has customers like Jimmy Grote excited.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cMy ties to Italian food come from my upbringing; I\u2019m from an Italian family in lower New York,\u201d said Grote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Grote said he was anxiously awaiting Joe\u2019s opening and was proudly their first customer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI\u2019ve just grown up with [Italian food], and I love it,\u201d said Grote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Owner Ardo Methasani said the first location opened in Texas, and they saw a need to expand to North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cYou guys don\u2019t have a real Italian restaurant here, that\u2019s why we came,\u201d said Methasani.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Methasani added that top orders at other locations typically include spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccini.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cIt\u2019s all about the taste and how you make it. Like I said, the most part of our dishes is homemade,\u201d said Methasani.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He said there is also a location in Grand Forks with ones in Bismarck, Dickinson and Williston in the works.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Methasani said they have three things they hope customers experience when dining with them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cLove, patience and authentic Italian food,\u201d said Methasani.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Bringing the tastes of Italy to the Peace Garden State.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The restaurant is on 1st Street next to Prairie Sky Breads. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">They are open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Staff said once they have a liquor license, hours may be extended. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KFYR.
