A Georgia–Japan Business Forum was held in Tbilisi to promote stronger economic cooperation between the two countries. The event, titled “Japanese Business in Georgia – A Bridge to the Middle Corridor,” was organized in partnership with TBC Capital.
The forum was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, the Georgia–Japan Business Association, and the Istanbul office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
The event brought together nearly 100 participants, including leading Georgian and Japanese companies, investors, and government representatives.
During the forum, participants discussed several key topics, including Georgia’s investment environment and the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and logistics. Speakers highlighted Georgia’s growing role in international transportation and global supply chains.
In addition to the official program, informal networking sessions were held, giving Georgian and Japanese companies an opportunity to establish new contacts, explore potential partnerships, and identify areas for future cooperation across various sectors.
The event was supported by the Business Association of Georgia, Toyota Caucasus, TBC Capital, the Georgia office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Georgian Industrial Group, and Silk Hospitality.
