Cheesecake fans, get ready for the arrival of Cheese Wonder on 8 May! This Japanese  cheesecake brand, which has been viral since its launch in 2021, is arriving in Singapore for its first pop-up at ION Orchard!

Cheese Wonder, which sells its products through limited online releases and occasional pop-ups, is so popular that queues at its Japan and Hong Kong’s pop-ups stretch for as long as 3 hours! It is even called a “fantasy dessert” because of its rarity and high demand.

For their pop-up in Singapore from 8 May to 3 Jul, Cheese Wonder will be launching 3 options, the first being their classic Cheese Wonder (S$35.90 for 4 pieces, S$53.90 for 6 pieces)!

The pastry is a 2-layer, no-bake cheesecake with a crunchy almond cookie crust and cheese souffle base at the bottom. Topping this is a light cheese mousse that adds a beautiful texture to the cheesecake. Looking at the image simply makes my mouth water!

You can also purchase the Wonder Sand (S$35.90 for 8 pieces), an almond cookie sandwich with the same zigzag shape as their logo!

This isn’t just your ordinary almond cookie; when you separate the 2 cookie halves, you will see a rich cream filling made from Hokkaido milk and butter. What a unique cookie sandwich!

At this pop-up, Cheese Wonders will also be releasing their limited edition Cheese Wonder Red (S$42.90 for 4 pieces)!

For strawberry lovers, this might become your favourite menu offering! On top of the crunchy cookie crust and rich cheese souffle at the bottom, you will find an entire Japanese strawberry hidden in the strawberry-flavoured cheese mousse. Sounds berry-licious!

I can already imagine the snaking queues that will form at ION Orchard on 8 May… I hope it doesn’t end up like Japan and Hong Kong, because imagine queuing for 3 hours!

If you’re crazy for cheesecake, don’t miss this rare opportunity! For those concerned about the queue, perhaps you could wait a few weeks for the queue to get shorter.
