Global names across pop, hip-hop, and electronic will highlight the inaugural edition

The 81 Music Festival Production Committee has announced the full lineup for the debut of 81 Music Festival, set to take place on Saturday, June 27th, at Toyota Arena Tokyo in Odaiba, Japan.

The first edition of the festival will bring together a global mix of artists spanning electronic, pop, and hip-hop, with confirmed performances from The Kid Laroi, R3hab, MRAK, John Martin, Vini Vici B2B Mr. Black, Night Tempo, Alan Shirahama, 3LI¥EN, and Marvy. The event will also feature a special world premiere showcase from R3hab and the Japan debut performance of MRAK.

Designed as a new international platform for music and culture, 81 Music Festival aims to connect Japan with the global scene through a carefully curated program that blends established headliners with emerging talent. The event will take place inside Toyota Arena Tokyo, a newly developed indoor venue offering a large-scale production environment and convenient access from central Tokyo and Haneda Airport.

From the electronic world, R3hab delivers pure festival energy, fast, melodic, and built for big-room impact. His sets are designed around instant crowd reaction, stacking familiar hooks with high-tempo drops in a format that feels tailored for large arena environments. On a more cinematic level, MRAK shifts the tone into something deeper and more immersive. Expect a performance that moves away from traditional DJ structure and leans into atmosphere, emotion, and visual storytelling—more of a journey than a set.

At the top of the bill, The Kid Laroi brings a raw, emotional edge to the festival’s pop and hip-hop crossover identity. Known for global hits like “Stay” with Justin Bieber, his live sets balance high-energy moments with stripped-back, melodic sections that often turn into full crowd sing-alongs. He sits right at that intersection between mainstream pop and youth-driven emotional storytelling.

John Martin brings the voice behind some of dance music’s most iconic records, adding a live, emotional layer that transforms electronic moments into full crowd experiences. His presence is built for those big festival peaks where thousands of voices come together. The B2B of Vini Vici and Mr. Black pushes into high-intensity territory, delivering fast-paced psytrance energy designed for maximum impact and movement across the crowd.

Night Tempo brings a softer contrast, reworking Japanese city pop and retro influences into modern club form. His sets feel nostalgic but fresh, offering groove-driven balance against the heavier mainstage moments. Alan Shirahama continues to expand his presence both in Japan and internationally as a DJ, producer, and performer. Alongside his success as a member of Exile and Generations, Alan has steadily built a name within electronic music through festival appearances, international releases, and collaborations that blend club music with mainstream energy. His set is expected to bring a high-energy mix of melodic dance music and crossover festival sounds tailored for a large arena crowd.

Tickets for the event are available across three tiers, including platinum and gold standing options, as well as a GA seated ticket designed to accommodate a wider audience. Notably, GA tickets will allow entry for attendees under the age of 18, with specific conditions in place for younger guests.

The name “81” reflects Japan’s international dialing code and serves as a symbolic concept for the festival, representing a connection point between Japan and the rest of the world. Built around the theme “From Code to Core — connecting Japan and the world through music,” the event will incorporate not only live performances but also a broader sensory experience aimed at fostering cultural exchange.

81 Music Festival will run from noon until 9:30 pm on June 27th. Tickets are currently on sale via the official website and will be available until sold out.
