The Casio Vintage A140WE-8A watch
Casio has released three new Vintage watches in the UK: the A140WE-2A, the A140WE-8A, and the A140WEG-9A. Each of these retro-inspired timepieces has a digital display, with features like a precise stopwatch and a seven-year battery life estimate.
The Casio Vintage A140WE watches are now available in the UK. These three digital timepieces were officially unveiled at the start of May 2026 in Japan.
Casio’s A140WE-2A, A140WE-8A, and A140WEG-9A watches are now listed at the brand’s online UK store. All three versions have a £75 RRP. This price is a reflection of the watch’s combination of a chrome-plated resin casing and multi-row stainless steel strap.
The A140WE has a retro design with a sunray dial around the digital display. The A140WE-2A has a dark blue dial, and the A140WE-8A has a dark gray dial, each with silver tone straps. The A140WEG-9A has both a gold colored dial and bracelet. Each measures 39.0 x 36.8 x 10.4 mm (~1.53 x 1.45 x 0.41 inches) and weighs 60 g (~2.1 oz).
The Casio A140WE can show the time in a 12 or 24 hour format, and it will also display the date and the day of the week. The screen can be illuminated thanks to an electro-luminescent backlight, and the calendar is automatic. On-watch tools include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a daily alarm and hourly time signals. Plus, these watches are water resistant for everyday use, and should run for around seven years on a CR2016 battery.
