Membrane Group Signs Pact with Japan’s Kurita Water Industries for Semiconductor Business.
Membrane Group India has entered into a joint venture with Japan-based Kurita Water Industries to provide advanced process water and wastewater treatment solutions for India’s fast-growing semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing sectors.
The partnership will operate through a newly formed entity, Kurita Membrane India, backed by significant capital commitments from both companies. The joint venture aims to become a trusted provider of water treatment solutions for semiconductor fabrication plants and other advanced manufacturing facilities.
The collaboration combines Kurita Water Industries’ globally established expertise and technologies in industrial water treatment, particularly for the semiconductor industry, with Membrane Group India’s engineering, manufacturing and project execution capabilities.
The companies said the venture is expected to strengthen India’s semiconductor ecosystem by delivering high-quality water treatment solutions tailored to the stringent requirements of chip and electronics manufacturing.
