Is RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Kori King — who famously impersonated Michael Jackson on the red carpet at the 2025 Emmys — engaged in an online squabble involving Kardashian-adjacent reality TV star Blac Chyna‘s mother, Tokyo Toni? Well, yes!
After the season 17 Drag Race alum posted to Instagram a video (below) of her impersonating Toni, another clip surfaced online showing Toni, the often-meme’d social media personality (who also starred on the reality TV series Finding Love ASAP!), using a homophobic slur.
“I don’t give a f— if you’re a man or bitch. Stay the f— out my way,” Toni said in the clip, with footage reposted by Kori’s season 17 sister, Jewels Sparkles, also seeing Toni use the phrase “sassy f—-t ass.” The video of Toni included text highlighting the social media handles of Kori, Jewels, and more season 17 castmates, including Crystal Envy, Suzie Toot, Joella, and Lana Ja’Rae, with Toni saying: “Your mother didn’t even protect your motherf—ing ass, because you got f—ed as a boy and loved it, and that’s why you a gay bitch now.”
Now, as Kori exclusively tells Entertainment Weekly, “It’s honestly disheartening, but not surprising” to see Toni use anti-gay language in the footage.
“I always want to respond with positivity and humor,” Kori explains, later adding a more serious response to Toni’s use of homophobic slurs in the video. “Due to her, you know, her state of mind, maybe her mental state, where she’s at, maybe she just can’t find the humor in it, and takes it as negativity. I don’t know her journey. All I know is, as long as everyone else is [making jokes], I’m going to keep doing it. Also, you [allegedly] came for my sisters, so all bets are off.”
Kori adds that, while her pre-planned impersonation videos of Toni are all posted, “if she wanna play, we can play” in the future: “If she wants war, I’m ready,” Kori says. “It’s giving old lady that yells, ‘Get off my lawn.’ All I can do is laugh!”
EW has attempted to reach both Chyna and Toni for comment on Kori’s videos, and the latter’s use of homophobic slurs in the video Jewels reshared on X.
Kori has long impersonated various celebrities and pop culture figures online, ranging from Shrek and the aforementioned Jackson, as well as Drag Race alums Suzie, Dawn, Jorgeous, and reigning All Stars 11 winner Crystal Methyd.

In another exclusive EW interview, Kori spoke about dressing up as Jackson at the 2025 Emmys, which she attended in a red shirt, hat, facial prosthetics, and black loafers.
“I wanted to be comfortable and chic,” Kori told EW at the time. When asked about a response from others in attendance, Kori explained that, “the response is that ‘you’re crazy.'”

Kori finished season 17 in 9th place, but made an impression on the judges and fellow contestant Lydia Butthole Kollins, with whom she’s currently in a relationship after the pair engaged in a headline-making kiss at the end of their fan-favorite lip-sync during the competition.
