Japan Airport Terminal Co. will reopen the renovated JAPAN DUTY FREE North 2 store in the North Wing of Narita International Airport’s Terminal 1 on August 11, the company said.
The redesign adopts the concept of “Bright & Flow In,” with a brighter, more open entrance, a revised layout to improve circulation inside the store, and better product visibility. The changes are intended to make shopping more comfortable for travelers.
Japan Airport Terminal also expanded the merchandise lineup, focusing on overseas luxury skincare brands to serve a wider range of customer needs.
The store will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Narita is one of Japan’s main international gateways, and airport duty-free stores primarily serve outbound and transit passengers. Japan Airport Terminal said it aims to strengthen service quality and offer a more refined shopping experience for domestic and international travelers using the airport.
