THE Philippines, the United States and Japan will jointly host the first Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC) Investment Forum on September 10 to 11 in Manila, the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) announced on August 12.
Sponsored by USTDA, the two-day forum is expected to draw about 600 participants including international investors, industry executives, project developers and government officials. The event aims to present investment opportunities in the Luzon Economic Corridor and link financiers with infrastructure projects that are ready for development.
“The LEC Investment Forum brings together the United States, Japan, the Philippines and partner nations from across the world around one goal: turning priority projects into commercial reality, while advancing our collective vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific,” said USTDA Deputy Director Thomas Hardy.
According to USTDA, America’s role in the Indo-Pacific is grounded in trusted partnerships and a commitment to secure, high-quality infrastructure.
The forum agenda includes keynote addresses, panel discussions, project presentations and networking sessions. Focus areas cover advanced manufacturing, digital connectivity, energy, transportation and logistics, as well as links to private capital and financing.
