Michael Jackson’s birthday on August 29 will bring another special treat for collectors in Japan!
To celebrate the huge success of the Michael movie, Sony Music Japan has announced a special Amazon.co.jp Mega Jacket campaign covering six of Michael Jackson’s classic studio albums. Starting with eligible orders delivered from August 29, fans who purchase one of the participating albums will receive an Amazon-exclusive Mega Jacket on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each eligible album comes with its own corresponding Mega Jacket, making this a particularly tempting offer for collectors who want to celebrate Michael’s incredible musical legacy.
For those unfamiliar with the format, Amazon Japan’s Mega Jackets are oversized reproductions of the album artwork. They are approximately 240 x 240 mm, considerably larger than a standard CD booklet and perfect for display.
The campaign is available while supplies last, and Sony Music Japan has warned fans to make sure they select the specific product pages marked as eligible for the bonus, as some versions of the albums may not include the Mega Jacket. The official announcement also confirms that one bonus is given for each eligible album purchased.
