For anyone wondering what it’s like to sleep inside a Poké Ball, your wildest gamer dreams are about to come true.
The Pokémon Company has teamed up with Japanese hospitality brand Not a Hotel to create a real-life, human-sized Poké Ball.
This futuristic glamping experience is part of a special tie-in with the Pokémon Sleep wellness app, giving trainers an entirely new way to catch some quality Zs.

Instead of a boring building, guests will stay in massive, detached spherical pods dropped right into a lush natural environment
Not a Hotel is known for its avant-garde architecture and luxury rentals, so you can expect a high-end stay rather than a flimsy pop-up tent.
While the exact location remains a tightly guarded secret, the creators confirmed that the Poké Ball-Themed Hotel is hidden “somewhere in Hokkaido”.

Reservations for this unique getaway will officially open on 15 September
With Hokkaido boasting some of Japan’s most spectacular forests, the setting promises to feel exactly like an adventurous journey to become a Pokémon Master.
As SoraNews24 points out, the accommodation is officially called the “Poké Ball-Themed Hotel” rather than the Japanese term “Monster Ball”, which suggests international tourists are welcome.
Furthermore, considering Hokkaido’s harsh midwinter snow makes semi-outdoor glamping difficult, the first guests will likely need to check in soon before the cold sets in.
