Radiohead’s reunion is officially becoming a multi-year affair. Following its return to the stage last fall after a seven-year hiatus, the band has announced 21 shows in Australia and Japan for 2027 — its first live dates in either country in more than a decade. However, there will be no additional 2027 shows announced, per to the band, although it says it hopes to “do more shows elsewhere in the future.”
The run begins May 3 at RAC Arena in Perth and continues through June 13 at GMO Arena in Saitama, Japan. The Thom Yorke-fronted band will play 16 shows in Australia and five in Japan, where it last headlined in 2008 before making a more recent appearance at the 2016 Summer Sonic Festival.

Australia has been waiting even longer: Radiohead’s last tour dates there came in November 2012. The newly announced shows follow the European reunion run that saw Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway return to the stage in November and December 2025. The group rotated 45 different songs across the 20-show tour.
Radiohead’s return continued to unfold in unexpected ways this year, with its Motion Picture House featuring KID A MNESIA debuting at Coachella in April inside a purpose-built underground bunker before moving to Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City and San Francisco. The immersive project transformed the artwork, studio ephemera and music of Kid A and Amnesiac into a physical audiovisual experience, with a 75-minute film at its center.
