NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May\u00a014, 2026)\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Nashville Soccer Club\u00a0and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced today that,\u00a0as part of\u00a0this year’s\u00a02026 Visit Music City Summer Kickoff<\/a>, the Japan\u00a0Men\u2019s National Team will hold a\u00a0Community Day and\u00a0open training session at\u00a0Nashville Stadium\u00a0on Monday, June 8 at 5:45 p.m. CT as they prepare for the FIFA World Cup 26\u2122.<\/p>\n

Individuals wishing to attend the open training session can register for free tickets\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the open training session, attendees will have the opportunity to view on-field activities by the Japan Men\u2019s National Team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an honor to open our stadium to the community and\u00a0the\u00a0Japan Men\u2019s National Team as they prepare to kick off their\u00a0FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 schedule,\u201d said Nashville SC Chief Business Officer Lindsey Paola.\u00a0\u201c2026 is the biggest year for soccer in the United States since the World Cup was last here in 1994, and we cannot wait to share in the experience with fans and families from Nashville and across Tennessee.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

In February, it was announced that the Japan Football Association selected Nashville SC\u2019s Training Center in Antioch for its FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 Team Base Camp and Training Site.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Countries\u00a0participating\u00a0in the in FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 will be headquartered at Base Camps throughout North and Central America where they will train and administer team operations. Additionally, the Japan Men\u2019s Team will\u00a0reside\u00a0in Nashville when they\u00a0aren\u2019t\u00a0traveling to FIFA World Cup host cities for matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Japan kicks off its FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 Group Stage (Group F) schedule June 14 at 3 p.m. CT vs. the Netherlands\u00a0at Dallas Stadium.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
