The recent Marvel\u2019s Wolverine<\/a> trailer showed off a montage of other levels right at the end, and I was quite taken with the city rooftop scene glimpsed for about one second.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s clear this will be one of the headline moments in the upcoming PS5 exclusive\u2019s globe-trotting story<\/a>, and now dev Insomniac has confirmed it takes place in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

It hasn\u2019t shared any more footage, but it captioned a GIF of the aforementioned scene<\/a> on social media, and said: \u201cTake the fight to Tokyo, one of the key story locations in Marvel\u2019s Wolverine!\u201d<\/p>\n

We know that Logan will be travelling all around the world<\/a> throughout the title\u2019s single player story, and it\u2019s quite exciting to learn one country he\u2019ll be visiting is Japan.<\/p>\n

While the clip largely focuses on the city skyline, potentially Shibuya, one interesting detail is the Roxxon building glimpsed just off in the horizon. Roxxon is obviously a noteworthy organisation from Marvel comic book lore.<\/p>\n

I do like a good globe-trotting adventure; I was over-the-moon with 007 First Light<\/a> recently, and while I know Marvel\u2019s Wolverine is very much a different type of game, I\u2019m particularly excited to paint more of the world red using Logan\u2019s claws.<\/p>\n
