{"id":41876,"date":"2026-06-16T12:07:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T12:07:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/japan\/41876\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T12:07:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T12:07:11","slug":"christopher-henry-to-tour-japan-with-kaz-inaba-bluegrass-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/japan\/41876\/","title":{"rendered":"Christopher Henry to tour Japan with Kaz Inaba \u2013 Bluegrass Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Noted US mandolinist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.noyamountainmusic.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Christopher Henry<\/a> is making a trip to Japan this week for a brief duo tour with <a href=\"https:\/\/kazuhiroinaba.com\/profile_english\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kazuhiro Inaba<\/a>, popular Japanese entertainer and bluegrass impresario.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will make nine stops across the island nation, performing in duet on mandolin and guitar, on what is billed as The Blue Grass Story Tour 2026. It is meant to be part educational and informative, and part purely entertainment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kaz offered a brief insight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cWe will play as a mandolin and guitar duo in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Nishinomiya, Imabari, Kurashiki, and Kyoto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">In between songs, we will share the stories from the bluegrass legends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both men are careful students of bluegrass history, as well as the music that informed its earliest origins. These shows should be great fun as well as deeply absorbing for Japanese bluegrass fans.
