The Prelude gains a 2027 Limited Edition for the Japanese market.<\/p>\n Its 200 hp hybrid powertrain carries over unchanged.<\/p>\n Pricing starts at $39,300, just $800 more than the standard car.<\/p>\n Honda wants Japan to look at the Prelude<\/a> again, and its pitch is a 2027 Limited Edition dressed in a new deep red paint with matching trim inside. Nothing under the skin changes. The hybrid coupe is exactly the car it was, now in a louder outfit.<\/p>\n The Prelude reached the Japanese market in September 2025<\/a>, and the launch ON Limited Edition paired a Moonlit Pearl finish with a black roof, mirrors, and wheels. It comes with a matching grille molding, red accents on the bumpers in place of the standard blue, and the familiar 19-inch alloy wheels<\/a> in a Machined Black Clear finish behind red Brembo brakes.<\/p>\n The interior has also received a special treatment with Bordeaux inserts on the front seats, center console, and dashboard. The rest of the upholstery is black leather with Bordeaux contrasting stitching. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and dual electric motors produce a combined 200 hp (149 kW \/ 203 PS), sending power to the front wheels. The signature Honda S+Shift system simulates gear changes with torque mapping and sound effects for a more engaging driving experience.<\/p>\n The 2027 Limited Edition of the Honda Prelude is already available to order in Japan<\/a>, and is scheduled to reach dealers in August 20. The special model is priced at \u00a56,306,300 ($39,300), representing an increase of \u00a5126,500 ($800) over the standard Prelude.<\/p>\n
