The third-generation Honda N-Box has been mildly updated in Japan.<\/p>\n The N-Box Custom gets a new face while the Joy adds a stealthy trim.<\/p>\n More models come standard with a 9-inch display and USB ports.<\/p>\n Honda has dropped the first details for the mid-lifecycle update of the N-Box, three years after the debut of the third generation model<\/a>. The most popular kei car and the best selling vehicle in Japan adopts a sharper face in the Custom trim, a Black Style package for the outdoorsy Joy variant, and small cabin upgrades across the lineup.<\/p>\n While the exterior design of the standard N-Box<\/a> is carried over, the premium N-Box Custom gains a new bumper for a more commanding road presence. The N-Box Custom Coordinate Style takes a step further with dark chrome plating replacing the brightware.<\/p>\n The interior of the N-Box Custom gains chrome and piano black accents, LED lamps, and Night Blue ambient lighting.<\/p>\n Honda N-Box Custom Turbo Coordinate Style<\/p>\n The N-Box Joy retains its role as the most adventurous trim in the lineup<\/a> with minor updates. Inside, we find piano black accents and a black checkered pattern on the seat upholstery and cargo area.<\/p>\n The playful N-Box Fashion Style gains a white roof scheme, matching the white mirror caps and door handles. The entire N-Box family features a center USB charger and upper seatback pockets for enhanced practicality. Finally, the 9-inch infotainment<\/a> display with navigation and the ETC 2.0 electronic toll collection system are now standard in more trims.<\/p>\n Honda N-Box Joy Turbo Special Edition Black Style<\/p>\n Honda didn\u2019t get into details about the powertrain options but those are likely carried over from the existing lineup. The 660cc mill generates 58 hp (43 kW \/ 58 PS) in naturally aspirated form and 63 hp (47 kW \/ 64 PS) in turbo flavor.
