Apparently PM Takaichi said that since Abe San had a lot of affection and respect for PM Modi, she now looked towards him as her elder brother too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">PM Modi had close personal relations with PM Abe, who was assassinated on July 8, 2022 by a radical in Nara, the constituency of PM Sanae Takaichi. The <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/ht-insight\/international-affairs\/a-new-innings-how-cricket-is-quietly-strengthening-india-japan-ties-101768974708114.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"India-Japan ties\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">India-Japan ties<\/a> took off to a new level under the leadership of Abe San, who was the longest serving prime minister in Japanese history.
