While euro-backed stablecoins have grabbed headlines following Europe&#8217;s MiCA regulation, a latest development from Japan suggests the trend is spreading across Asia too.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Japanese logistics giant AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings has announced plans to invest \u00a51 billion which is around $6.7 million\u00a0into yen-backed stablecoin JPYC. The company will also be using JPYC to pay nearly 2,300 logistics partners and independent contractors.  <\/p>\n<p>            What is the New UseCase for JPYC Stablecoin in Japan          <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Yen-backed JPYC stablecoin\u00a0is built and issued by JPYC Inc., a Tokyo-based fintech company having Circle and Metaplanet as its backers.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Launched in October 2025, the stablecoin has now become one of Japan&#8217;s first Financial Services Agency-compliant yen stablecoins under the country&#8217;s revised Payment Services Act. This comes as stablecoins can help the company reduce transfer fees.
