Orlando Bloom is serious about moving on from Malibu. The British actor, who split up with fianc\u00e9e Katy Perry<\/a> last summer, just shaved $2 million off his longtime Southern California retreat, per Realtor.com.<\/a> The Deep Cover actor had previously tried selling the Japanese-inspired house for $12 million in March before cutting it to $11.45 million in May. That makes the new discount roughly 13 percent off the initial ask. Bloom is apparently open to renters as well, with Zillow<\/a> showing the property is available to lease for $35,000 per month.<\/p>\n The new sale target would still represent an overall gain for the movie star: Bloom bought the ocean-facing property in 2011 for $2.5 million, per data from Zillow,<\/a> back when he was married to model Miranda Kerr. Even though the couple got divorced in 2013, he told the Wall Street Journal<\/a> that their son, Flynn, spent his early years in the home. Bloom also shares a daughter, Daisy, with Perry.<\/p>\n The home has a jade green kitchen.<\/p>\n Located in a gated community near El Matador State Beach, the English actor\u2019s two-story residence dates to the mid-1970s and has four bedrooms across 4,200 square feet. Bloom told WSJ that he undertook extensive renovations totaling more than $5 million<\/a> during his time as owner, saying it now has a \u201cJapanese feel to it.\u201d Among the updates were opening up the first-floor layout to optimize flow and adding a pool to the rear garden, which has views of the Pacific.<\/p>\n The interiors come with wood-beamed ceilings, barn-style doors, industrial pendants, and a jade green kitchen (which is all the rage<\/a> right now). Other colorful moments include bathrooms in azure blue and butter yellow. Custom furnishings<\/a> by artist Roy McMakin, who is known for his vibrant murals, are also available for purchase.<\/p>\n An azure blue bath has outdoor access.<\/p>\n In terms of outdoor space, the second floor has an ocean-facing terrace that stretches the entire length of the home. The grounds also feature al fresco dining areas, a wet bar, a barrel sauna, a wooden soaking tub, and a two-car garage.<\/p>\n Bloom added the pool court to the rear garden.<\/p>\n Bloom told WSJ<\/a> that he hasn\u2019t lived in the house full-time for several years.
