The parties discussed support for Ukraine\u2019s energy resilience, the development of drone technologies, and the participation of Japanese businesses in the country\u2019s reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>In a Telegram post, Ihor Klymenko thanked Masashi Nakagome for his cooperation and support for Ukraine and wished him continued success in his diplomatic service.<\/p>\n<p>According to the NSDC Secretary, Japan is one of Ukraine\u2019s key partners and ranks among the five largest donors of financial assistance. Particular attention during the meeting was given to protecting and restoring Ukraine\u2019s energy system, which is subject to constant Russian attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Russia continues to strike our energy infrastructure, so Japan\u2019s assistance is especially important for restoring and strengthening the resilience of our energy system. We also count on the timely delivery of the planned shipments of necessary equipment<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Ihor Klymenko<\/p>\n<p>Japan may join the Drone Deal initiative<\/p>\n<p>One of the key topics of the talks was cooperation between Ukraine and Japan in the field of drone technologies. The parties considered the possibility of Japan joining the Drone Deal initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Ihor Klymenko emphasized that Ukraine\u2019s practical experience and technological solutions in the drone sector create new opportunities for international partnership. Japan\u2019s potential participation in Drone Deal could strengthen cooperation between the two countries in developing modern unmanned systems.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine\u2019s reconstruction and the involvement of Japanese companies<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also addressed Ukraine\u2019s recovery following Russian attacks and the expanded participation of Japanese companies in relevant projects.
